The Aperture
This telescope boasts a large 102mm aperture and with a focal length of 600mm, allows magnifications up to 200x, giving you amazing views of not only celestial objects like the moon, but also deep space targets.
Another nice feature of this Bresser Messier telescope is the GP prism rails with stainless steel clamping surface, which give you the option of mounting on almost all other telescope mounts.
High-Quality Optics
Now despite its relatively short focal length, what makes this Bresser Messier AR-102s/600 telescope such a powerful device, is the high-quality optics that come with it.
And the tube is also equipped with a top-of-the-range Hexafoc focuser with 2.5″ free inner diameter. This means no vignetting even with the faster optical system that this telescope has.
The Focuser and the Eyepiece
A 2″ rack and pinion focuser with a 1.25″ adapter is included with this telescope. A Bresser 1.25″ diagonal is standard, and you’ll also receive a 25mm 1.25″ eyepiece
Mounting the Tube
A one-piece tube ring assembly cradles the optical tube, and this makes mounting the telescope a breeze. And another handy feature is that at the top of the tube ring, you’ll find a carry handle that is also designed with the ability to rig up a DSLR camera.

Finder Scope
I’m sure you will be pleased with the accessories that come standard with the Bresser Messier telescope. To help you locate objects more easily, an 8 X 50 LED-illuminated finder scope and bracket are also included.
The finder bracket attaches easily to the back part of the optical tube and is removable for telescope storage and transportation.
The Software

Verdict
This product is the telescope assembly only, so you will need some kind of scope mount and tripod to use the Bresser Messier AR-102s/60. The scope weighs about 4kg, which makes it relatively easy to mount – bigger, heavier scopes require more exotic mount hardware, which gets expensive.
But if you can get these extra things, for the price this is an extremely serious bit of kit. You won’t be disappointed
